Master Shao, female, from Yixing, was born in 1952. In 1974, she studied in Yixing Light Industry School of Jiangsu Province, under the guidance of Professor Zhang Zhian, specializing in ceramic decoration. Since 1976, she worked in ceramic art design in Jiangsu Yixing celadon factory Research Institute. During the period, she cooperated with master Han Meilin and Professor Zhang Shouzhi of Tsinghua University for many times. Within the 20 years, she has made great achievements. Her works have won awards both national grade and provincial level for many times and have exhibited in Hong Kong and Taiwan and have displayed in Ziguangge, Zhongnanhai, Beijing. She was reputed as senior artist in Yixing, Jiangsu Province, China. In recent years,she has created new works in purple clay industry again and again, and her works have been highly praised by people in China and abroad.
